THE TAO EXPERIENCE
Scattered along Duli Beach’s 2km stretch of golden sand are a handful of surf rentals shacks and hand-poke tattoo places. And now, with its cathedral-like curves offset by a concrete structure, Taran Beach Club is the latest offering from Tao. Here, we offer curated one-day, one-night stays in simple sleeping pods. But there are only 20 beds, so don’t tell everyone.
THE TAO EXPERIENCE
Duli Beach offers surf for much of the year, but the best breaks come between November and March when the Amihan (northeast wind) sweeps in, delivering clean, steady swells and favourable winds that make for some of the best surfing conditions around. But this isn’t just for surfers: we host yoga or mobility sessions from time to time, along with delicious healthy food and sunset moments that call you to dance.
THE TAO EXPERIENCE
At Taran, a Philippines beach club with a difference, you’ll find our special blend of Tao hospitality. Big smiles. Big flavours. And big portions! Smokey, tangy kinilaw (a traditional raw fish dish) is the star of the show, but we also serve refined versions of all our Tao classic dishes. And you’ll sleep in simple sleeping pods, alongside our other guests.
Spend the night in our magnificent building. Concrete and bamboo, soft curves and open air – Taran’s design flows with the shoreline. It’s a space that feels sculpted by wind and tide, beautiful in its simplicity and grounded in nature.
Daily yoga and body-movement classes invite you to slow down, stretch out and breathe with the ocean. They take place in a cathedral-like hall that is airy, grounded and designed for connection between body, mind and horizon.
Make your stay a little more special with a curated Tao experience meal: native produce, freshly caught seafood and bright island flavours, prepared for you and available to order.
As the sun dips behind the waves, the music starts to play and cocktails flow. Golden light, salt air and rhythm. It’s an invitation to move, connect and let go.
From November to April, Duli’s gentle waves roll in, perfect for beginners and seasoned surfers alike. We have boards you can borrow and local islanders ready to teach you to surf.
Step onto two kilometres of golden sand. Swim, surf or simply slow down on one of El Nido’s most peaceful and unspoiled beaches.
GETTING THERE
Duli is around 30 to 40 minutes from El Nido town. Come by motorbike, arrange your own ride, or let us sort the van. Part of the fun is getting out of town. The road takes you north, away from the crowds and toward one of El Nido’s least developed beaches.
