Camp Ngey Ngey is Tao’s crusoe-style deserted island camp in west Busuanga, Northern Palawan. It was built from the remains of a typhoon-wrecked resort and Tao’s bamboo architecture. Ngey is paradise for those who want to escape the noise of the modern world.
Far, far away From the tourist crowds of Coron Town, Camp Ngey Ngey is located in the rarely explored islands of west Busuanga, a days travel from Coron.
A rare example of a private island that has not been over developed and commercialized , detracting away from the raw beauty of island life.
The sheer diversity of life on the Coral reefs and sunken shipwrecks of the Calamian Islands is unparalleled in Asia. One of the most healthy and Bio diverse eco systems in the world.

The Tao Experience is a social experience for like-minded travelers. We don’t mean people who think the same things, but think the same way. We welcome adventurous travelers looking to disconnect from the noise of the modern world, reconnect with nature, and be inspired by new perspectives.
Each experience group has a wide mix of ages, nationalities, and backgrounds to make for an interesting, diverse, and vibrant atmosphere on-board and in the basecamps.
There is no age limit for this experience.
All guests should be comfortable in the water as swimming is a big part of the experience. However, our crew are happy to help travelers worried about their physical capabilities.
There are two main seasons in the Philippines,
- ‘Amihan’ (Northeastern Winds) bring the dry season from October to May. This is our high season.
- ‘Habagat’ (Southwestern Winds) bring the rainy season from June to September. Expect some rainy days and trip reschedules if you are travelling during Habagat months.
- Island Check In at 13:00PM. Your hut will be available by 1PM but you can arrive early to enjoy the whole day. Present a valid ID (passport, driver’s license) upon checking in.
