EL NIDO TO CORON (VICE VERSA)

Travel through the Palawan with your own group of family or friends with a private boat tour with Tao Expeditions.

Private Group Expeditions take you off the beaten path to travel the 200km connecting El Nido and Coron on your own private boat, exploring the islands of West Busuanga, Linapacan and Daracouton Bay.

OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATION

Stay overnight in our off grid bamboo basecamps. Each one has its own personality, a sheltered cove, a wild jungle, a community homestay or a typhoon wrecked boutique resort.

Some nights will be just your group, others may be in our larger communal camps where you get to mingle with other guests and the Tao Community.

FOOD AND DRINKS

Your private chef will be cooking up a feast to fuel your adventure!We are passionate about the food serve. Native fruits and vegetables from our farms, fresh caught Seafood and occasionally some homegrown pork. Vegetarian and Vegans can enjoy the numerous plant based dishes. There is always plenty for everyone to eat.

Help yourself to Tea, coffee and drinking water. Alcohol and other drinks are available at additional cost from the bar.

ACTIVITIES AND THINGS TO DO

There are hundreds of islands to explore, jump overboard to snorkel the coral reefs, swim to the islands and check out the beach, or stay onboard and read your book, its up to you. Help out in the kitchen, chat with the local crew and spend quality time with your chosen shipmates.

We can avoid the tourist crowds by not sticking to the regular day tour schedules of other companies and using our privately secluded base camps.

Private Expeditions are for groups friends and family that want to go off on an adventure together. It’s up to you to curate your group so make sure everyone you invite is up for going off grid and roughing it up a bit.

We welcome adventurous travelers looking to disconnect from the noise of the modern world, reconnect with nature, and be inspired by new perspectives.

GOING OFF THE BEATEN TRACK MEANS BEING PREPARED.

Make sure that you and everyone in your group has read the ’10 Tips to Prepare for your Tao Experience’, which includes a detailed packing list of everything you will need to bring.

WHAT TIME OF YEAR IS GOOD TO VISIT?

October to May is Amihan (meaning northeastern winds) where temperatures hover around 30 degrees and you can expect it to be mostly dry. That said, our trips run year round (except August and September) and we think the odd tropical downpour is all part of the experience.

NO NEED FOR CASH ONBOARD.

You’ll be given a cashless bracelet to pay for cocktails, massages and anything you want to buy in our community shop, like homemade coconut oil or Kwang Loong (our recommended brand of bug repellent). You can even use it to pay your crew tip.

DON'T MISS CHECK-IN & BRIEFING.

It is important to attend the briefing so that you can meet the crew and Expedition leader who give you an orientation and plan for the next days and make any last minute preparations. This means that you can get going early on the first day of your trip and make the most out of your time with Tao.
