Every dish we served in our kantinas comes from our farm and gardens located on the island. A culinary journey influenced from around the world, from Asian to South America we created a menu that optimizes the resources available, using them in fresh and exciting ways.

The Tao Experience is a social experience for like-minded travelers. We don’t mean people who think the same things, but think the same way. We welcome adventurous travelers looking to disconnect from the noise of the modern world, reconnect with nature, and be inspired by new perspectives.
Each experience group has a wide mix of ages, nationalities, and backgrounds to make for an interesting, diverse, and vibrant atmosphere on-board and in the basecamps.
There is no age limit for this experience.
All guests should be comfortable in the water as swimming is a big part of the experience. However, our crew are happy to help travelers worried about their physical capabilities.
There are two main seasons in the Philippines,
- ‘Amihan’ (Northeastern Winds) bring the dry season from October to May. This is our high season.
- ‘Habagat’ (Southwestern Winds) bring the rainy season from June to September. Expect some rainy days and trip reschedules if you are travelling during Habagat months.
- Check In at 10:00AM. Your hut will be available by 1PM but you can arrive early to enjoy the whole day. Present a valid ID (passport, driver’s license) upon checking in.
- Check Out at your tuka hut at 10am.
Tao Dipnay is located outside of the village of SanFernando, 50mins drive North of ElNido Town. You can get there yourself if you have your own transport, hop on one of our scheduled transfers or we can arrange a private transfer at your convenience.
