The work in Tao Village has been coming on leaps and bounds, despite the at times arresting monsoon weather howling above the surrounding jungle at remote coastline!
Over the past two months a small team of us have successfully renovated 4 of the existing nipa's entirely, made possible with the unerring help and traditional technical knowledge of our local and onsite Tao family members. Collectively we have also begun to explore the surrounding locale and landscape so as to more intimately understand some of its habits and secrets, inhabitants and offerings. With an almost daily changing surround to atune to each morning comes new natural solutions and challenges, hence the second stage of the villages rebirth will begin as soon as the high tides at the end of the month have determined the unique annual topography of the site in which the village sits! For now, theres much fishing to be done!
